Heavy duty hard hitting pellet pistol
I have other pellet pistols including the Crosman 1377 and Custom 2300 (.22cal.) but the browning 800 is my favorite. The quality is excellent and it is fast shooting and very accurate. I permanently mounted the cocking handle to the barrel by shimming with duct tape and added a 2.5x NcStar scope. The stock sights are nice but if you want real accuracy you need a scope. I shoot targets at a measured distance of 75 feet and consistently group within the size of a half dollar. It seem to not shoot as well with pointed pellets but I'm still experimenting. I only wish they would make this gun in .22 caliber.
