No matter how good you are, you'll never outgrow the potential of the 46M. When its predecessor, the IZH 46, first hit the American market in the 1990s, it took the airgunning world by storm. Russian airguns were not exactly well-known, so people were a bit leery to try this newcomer. It wasn't long before entire 10-meter shooting clubs had switched to this airgun!

The features on this gun are truly astounding. Besides the match barrel mentioned before, you also have a wood grip with an adjustable palm shelf that goes up and down to suit your preference. The post front sight joins the fully adjustable rear sight to make sure you home in on the 10-ring. The two-stage trigger is fully adjustable for first-stage travel (creep) and ove rtravel and second-stage pull-weight. The extra-long cocking stroke gives improved leverage and can be easily worked by younger shooters (with adult supervision).

Another important feature is the ability to dry-fire the IZH 46M. Ten-meter competitors don't always shoot pellets; they often dry-fire their guns in order to improve their hold and trigger control.
