Airgun Pellets PDF Print E-mail
Crosman PremierThere are a lot of different types of pellets on the market and it can be very confusing sometimes to know what pellets you should use in your airgun.

Most pellets are varations of the four basic shapes. When choosing your pellets, be sure to take into consideration the fact that your gun might be pellet-specific and what you are going to use the pellet. for.
You should try different types of pellets from different manufacturers in your airgun to see which pellets shoot the most accuratly in your airgun. Accuracy is the most important thing. The most Magnum power airgun is of little use if you can not hit anything with it.

The 4 basic pellet shapes.

Crosman domed
Domed or Diablo A good All-Around Pellet
Popular for any type of shooting thanks to its aerodynamic design, its round shape deflects wind, increases velocity, accuracy and trajectory.
Very popular for FTS (field target shoot)
Crosman domed
Hollow Point – A good Hunting pellet
Ideal for shooting small pests, this design expands on contact without over-penetrating your target.
Crosman domed
Wadcutter or Flathead– Target Competition pellet
When you need a consistent, tight shot, look no further than the Wadcutter pellet. Hunting enthusiasts will even enjoy this flat head design because of its excellent impact and limited penetration.
Crosman domed
Pointed – Pest Control pellet
The standard pointed pellet tends to hold it's velocity for long-range penetration. These sturdy pellets are sure to please any shooter wishing to control pests or hunt in the field.
